No place to put your cigar or clubs when getting ready to take a swing on the golf course?

Why I became an Inventor of Golf Accessories

I attended the American Century Championship, better known as the Celebrity Golf Tournament, in Lake Tahoe the weekend of July 13-19, 2004. July 16th and 17th was designated for up close and personal interaction with the celebrities. On July 16th, I waited for the celebrities that I knew to come and make their putt at the hole where I was. Ahmad Rashad and Michael Jordan started their way towards me. That’s when I noticed Ahmad smoking a cigar. When he got ready to putt, he placed his cigar on the ground. My initial thought was “how gross”.

The following day, I met Charles Barkeley on another hole. Before he took his swing, he placed his cigar on the ground.

I informed Charles that I saw Ahmad put is cigar on the ground as well and offered him a muffin pan to put his cigar on and to give one to Ahmad.

Of course that was too much of a “man thang” for Charles to accept my pan or even give one to Ahmad, but he was polite anyway.

When I returned home from the tournament, my mind was already in overdrive, thinking of something that was both convenient and safe for smokers on the golf course. Then it hit me, I’ll invent a “Golf Tee Cigar/Cigarette Holder”.

Once I started talking to golfers, I came up with ideas for other equipment they needed on the golf course. As a result, I have invented several golf accessories that include: Golf Tee Club/S holders and a smokers bib that can be used as a golf cover as golfers drive from one hole to another. My golf accessories will make great novelty gifts for smokers or anyone who partake in outdoor activities and need a place to put their cigar/cigarettes. The smoker’s bib can keep them from burning their clothes or even causing an accident because they are busy putting the fire out.
